Very good news: this awfully odd series in the nitty-gritty details, full of charm, imagination and loufoquerie, is going to come into the world in cartoon.

Emmanuel Guibert is born in 1964 in Paris. After very short studies in ENSAD, he undertakes his first album, Dark-haired woman, which he will put seven years to finish, while practising as illustrator and story-boarder. He participates in the magazine Rabbit and moves into the Workshop of the Vosges, together with Christophe Blain, mile Bravo and Joann Sfar, with which he signs The Daughter of the professor (Blow of heart of Angoul me and price Ren Goscinny). In 2000, with Sfar, he begins Sardine of the space and, in 2001, black Olives. In 2003, he signs with Didier Lef vre the first volume of the trilogy The Photographer, who blends drawings and photos in Afghanistan occupied by the Soviet army. He also signs Ariol with Mark Boutavant, and The scarlet Captain with David B.
